Who We Are

Dr. Loschiavo opened his Tucson practice in 1987 after growing up and going to school in Pennsylvania and New York. During college, he followed his father’s advice to spend his summers working in a steel mill. That experience reinforced his work ethic and gave him valuable insight into how to work with people from all backgrounds. A cousin who was a noted oral surgeon inspired him to go into oral surgery, and although he could have gone into any number of professions, oral surgery struck a chord for him. He’s never lost his enthusiasm for the curative and restorative possibilities that oral surgery offers patients.

Over the years, Dr. Loschiavo has worked tirelessly to build his practice and today he is one of Tucson’s premier oral surgeons. He’s a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is on staff at Northwest Medical Center. He’s also a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona State Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the International College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Meet Our Team

Our surgeon, Dr. Charles Loschiavo, DMD, is well known for his warm, caring bedside manner. His extensive experience and education allow him to offer the most advanced types of oral surgery procedures. All the clinical team members at the Arizona Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery have received formal training for their roles, are CPR certified, and receive regular training in infection control, medical emergencies, and dental implant techniques. Our administrative team members were selected because of their experience in dental care and their customer service skills. They also receive regular training in infection control as well as administrative functions like insurance coding and billing.
